Makeup Recommendation

I recently bought a felt-tip eyeliner from Lancome in Sephora. Usually for most products I try it at Sephora in store let it sit on me for entire day/hours and see how that product reacts/acts with my skin.
So after a decent brush with this eyeliner I choose to buy it. I used it in the morning and I had to rush for a workout in the afternoon. I dreaded that since this is not water-proof I'm in for a mess.
But surprisingly it didn't smudge, with all the perspiration and me wiping it off regularly it didn't come off easy.
And since it's felt-tip it was easy to apply, dark too.
I tried Navy too with consultation from Sephora specialist. They have lots of colors to choose from, but I wanted something that fits my brown eyes.

I would highly recommend this product.It is 30 bucks and I will have to wait and see how long it lasts for me.

Im gearing up for my trip. I have all the clothes and looks I need, so next I move into putting thought and resaerch into new hair style ideas. Now since my hair is so short are my options limited?

Hair

I would like to recommend Moroccan Argan Oil from Organix. It is readily available in drug stores and target.
It leaves my hair shiny, manageable and super soft. If you know me I usually like to try a lot of new products. My hair in general is also healthy. But this has been least hassle. After shampoo on towel dried hair just apply a small amount and dry the hair as you prefer - Natural or blow dried hair is more manageable and tangle free.
It's also super light so it doesn't weigh your hair down.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day everyone. I love this new pink dress I got from Limited.
The color suits me well and the fit is very nice too.

Three looks with one top

Hi freinds. It's been long since I blogged. I am now completely filled with ideas for looks for an up-coming vacation.
Honestly we haven't actually booked the trip but I have taken up the project to put together looks.

I most definitely will buy new clothes (who am i kidding?!!) but i also want to use my existing pieces with new ones I collected on my way.

While I was thinking I thought might as well blog this and get opinions from friends!

Here is a top I loved. it is one-shoulder and has a fun print.

I have used in the past mixed it up several ways so here are the looks I created with the top:

Dressy for dinner:

Since mostly everything was black/white I added color in my foot wear.
Closer look I have pulled my hair back to show my earrings but straightened my side bangs:

Day time look. I wanted a fun flirty look for day time and I used same top for the flirty part ;)
For casual look and comfort I paired it with denim and sketchers to run around and jump around that things I do best :)

Cross body bag also to add to the casual part.

I did put a flower clip in my hair but its barely visible :)

So now I want to mostly make it dressy again:

I will keep it simple using black pumps. Obviously for the end result with makeup and accessories you will wait and watch here :)

just another night out and another outfit

I wore this for a friends birthday dinner. I paired blue and pink. My dress is sleeveless blue with pink flowers. I wore black shrug, Pink Pumps and Pink earring. Eye make up was blue. SOrry for the bad picture quality as it was clicked in hurry.

Side braid

I have long-ish hair that comes down mid-way to my back and all I ever do with it is tie it up in a pony-tail or leave it open with a center part, and sometimes wear a hairband. Last week I saw a blog where this girl had tied her long hair in a side french braid and it looked gorgeous. Here is my attempt at a side french braid. Though pictures do not really do justice to it, I thought it looked good, and different from the usual.

Coming to my outfit, I wore a pink shirt, green sweater and a khaki skirt. No jewelry, no makeup!
